SEO Specialist
Present Moment Media is hiring an SEO Specialist
Time commitment: Contract / freelance; estimated 5-10 hours per week to start with additional hours available after an introductory period.
Compensation: $40/hour plus commission based on client projects.
Meetings: Weekly team meetings, plus additional project meetings as needed.
Work location: Fully remote. Flexible schedule.
Experience level: At least 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience.

What You'll Do
Collaborate with developers and designers on in-house and client-facing projects
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis
Perform on-page SEO audits (titles, meta descriptions, headers, etc.)
Monitor rankings, traffic, and search performance; report on key metrics
Recommend and help implement technical SEO improvements
Implement GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) content & technical updates
Support and help evolve our Reddit engagement strategy
Lite copywriting and editing of SEO-driven content such as blog posts
Stay current on search engine algorithm changes and SEO/GEO best practices
What We're Looking For
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of professionalism with clients and team members
Team player attitude & a passion for collaborating on creative projects
Sense of responsibility and willingness to meet deadlines in a timely manner
Availability for weekly team meetings in US Eastern time zone
At least 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house)
Working knowledge of tools like Google Search Console & Google Analytics
Experience with SEO tools such as SE Ranking
Experience with local SEO and content strategy
Self-directed and comfortable working remotely with a small, collaborative team
Comfortable working within WordPress, Squarespace, and other CMS platforms
