Sumaya K. Owens (she/they) is passionate about uplifting the voices of changemakers. They believe in utilizing content marketing as a tool for social & cultural impact. As a content marketing strategist, they specialize in social media, digital advertising, email marketing, and digital launch strategy. Their vision is to incorporate ethical marketing, DEI in media, & trauma-informed leadership into each unique strategy they create and deliver.

Sumaya is a retired corporate spa/retreat manager with nearly 20 years of professional experience in the health and wellness field. They primarily specialize in creating content for the wellness, sustainability, and nonprofit industries. Sumaya studied Marketing Management at Western Governors University, in addition to extensive training and consulting with JB Media in Asheville, NC, and Peaceful Media in Portland, OR. In addition, Sumaya has a post-graduate certificate in Equitable Leadership from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
